
Excel Support Services was founded in 2005.
The company began life as a solution to the very specific needs of one service user, who wished to leave residential care to move to supported living and greater independence. Today, the focus on problem-solving and empowerment that enabled Excel to make that possible is at the heart of the company’s approach.
Central to the quality of our services are highly trained and motivated staff, who know our customers well and are involved in planning and developing the person-centred culture of our organisation. The importance of our staff to us is demonstrated by the high quality training and remuneration that we provide.
In 2010, we became part of the Choice Care Group, which operates 43 residential homes for adults with mental health disorders, learning disabilities and complex needs in Berkshire, Gloucestershire, Hampshire and Wiltshire, allowing Choice to deliver an enhanced care pathway from residential care to supported living.
